Nanno (2021)

I first met Nanno in 1983 and since then, our relationship rapidly developed into a close friendship. Our lives have always been very different. Yet, our friendship proved resilient despite major changes in our lives and greater physical distance. We often went for sailing trips, we participated in all of each other’s major life events, we asked for advice and provided for help, we celebrated and comforted, we have seen each others children grow up, and gradually, our partners joined the bond.

As a birthday present, I offered to do his portrait and here is the result: 280 x 245 mm, printed on sheets on 37 x 32 cm of 220 gr/m² Simili Japon, in an edition of 13 and at a price of € 385.-, unframed, including VAT and free shipping.
