Self 2017 (2020)

The three selfportraits, made in 2020, were inspired by a stay in an intensive care unit in 2017. I fully recovered but it changed my self-perception.

Printed on Kozo 40 gr/m² in an edition of 11. Image size 277 x 358 mm, sheet size 34.5 x 42 cm. € 330.-, unframed, VAT and shipping included.

In 2021, Jacquoline Bosveld showed me an etching by Aat Veldhoen “Patient in Narcose”, made in 1959. I don’t know of any other artist dealing with this theme, but now I believe there must be more.
